History
1918
Domaine du Clos St-Louis is managed by the 4th winemaker generation - Philippe Bernard, along with his daughter Virginie Bernard.
The roots of the domaine go back to 1918, when Mrs. Veuve Edmond Bernard founded the domaine. In the 1930s the domaine was managed by Maurice Bernard, who developed the estate significantly.

The vineyards of Domaine du Clos St-Louis are farmed according to sustainable principles. In 2019 the domaine was certified sustainable by Terra Vitta.
The grapes are harvested in September. The grapes are 100 percent destemmed. Philippe Bernard prefers both punching down and pumping over the juice.
The wines are matured in barrels for 12 to 15 months. The percentage of new wood depends on the vintage and terroir, but in general it is up to 30 percent.
If necessary the wines are filtered.
